This position is primarily responsible for the company’s commercial activities, with a strong focus on developing new clients, prospecting business opportunities, expanding market presence, and driving growth across targeted sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand the existing client portfolio;
• Present the company’s services to prospects and clients;
• Re-engage inactive clients and rebuild commercial relationships;
• Prospect new business opportunities within the company’s scope of operations;
• Drive client development and organic growth;
• Support pricing activities, quotations, and client negotiations;
• Assist in the preparation of commercial proposals;
• Conduct client visits and maintain strong relationships;
• Develop clients within specific industries/sectors;
• Collaborate with Operations and Pricing teams to create customized solutions;
• Work with Operations and Pricing to develop new suppliers;
• Manage and grow the assigned client portfolio and market segment;
• Develop expertise in the designated market segment, gathering strategic insights to increase market share;
• Prepare technical and/or commercial proposals.

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field;

Preferred: Postgraduate degree and/or specialization course;

Field of Study: International Trade, Business Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or related areas;

Language: Advanced or Fluent English;

Computer Skills: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial area of freight forwarders;
• Established network with international partner freight agents;
• Experience in Inside Sales and/or Pricing within freight forwarding;
• Strong knowledge of Ocean Freight (Export and/or Import – FCL);
• Own vehicle is a plus;
• Experience in preparing technical proposals and/or bids, with active participation in related shipments.
